BOUNTIFUL, Utah, May 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A water line break in Bountiful is slowing traffic Wednesday afternoon.
A tweet from Bountiful Police Department at 3:45 p.m. said the break is at 400 N. 500 West.
“Westbound 400 North traffic is most affected,” the tweet said. “Take an alternate route.”
A follow-up tweet at 4:25 p.m. said: “the water department is shutting down another lane westbound due to the water line break.”
Drivers are being advised to take 200 West to 1000 North or Center Street to go around the 400 N. 500 West intersection.
The cause of the break is under investigation.
