“The victim traveled to her home in Plain City, where she found that Colton was now at her house. The victim found Colton in her home armed with a handgun. Two other males arrived at the home a short time later and discovered Colton with the handgun. These two males attempted to disarm Colton, however, during the altercation one victim was shot. The second male was able to disarm Colton and restrained him until deputies arrived.

“The male who was shot was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Colton was initially booked into the Weber County Jail on a probation violation.”
