WEBER COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 25, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Weber Fire District crews stopped to assist a jackknifed semi-truck on their way home from an awards ceremony Wednesday.

“Just after noon, on their way home from an EMS Awards Ceremony our Fire Chief’s responded to a semi-truck that had jack-knifed and was blocking two Northbound lanes at mile marker 341 on I-15,” Weber Fire District posted on Facebook. “The driver sustained no injuries and no other vehicles were hit during the incident.”

“The semi-truck was leaking diesel, Riverdale Fire Heavy Rescue 41 and Weber Fire HazMat 61 cleaned up the diesel spill and were able to stop the tank from leaking,” the post said.
