Kevin Love: Lebron James and I are Not ‘Best Friends’
CLEVELAND, March 24 (UPI) — Cleveland Cavaliers player Kevin Love admitted he and teammate Lebron James are not the bosom buddies of basketball.
Love appeared on ESPN’s Mike & Mike when he confirmed rumors the two had some friction.
“You know, we’re not best friends, we’re not hanging out every day, but we see each other every day, whether we’re at the practice facility, whether we’re on the road or going to a game,” said Love. “I think our relationship is also evolving. I could say the same with each and every coach, coach [David] Blatt, and each and every player on the team. But, that’s part of the NBA.”
James was called out in February for subtweeting to Kevin Love about his cohesion with the team.
Social media users also noticed Love was excluded from James’ Instagram photograph with the team with the caption “Clique up!”
