Salt Lake police seek help identifying possible suspects in July 26 homicide

SLCPD Looking for Persons of Interest in Homicide near Pioneer Park

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 2, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who may have been involved in a homicide on 400 West between 300 South and 400 South, early on the morning of July 26.

According to a SLCPD news release, one suspect is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic adult, wearing a dark-colored baseball hat with a white logo, a dark-colored hoodie with an unknown logo on thefront, dark-colored shorts, short white socks, and low-top black-and-white shoes, possibly Converse Chuck Taylor’s. This man is carrying a bag or purse in the photos.

The other suspect is described as an African-American male, wearing a dark hat, white T-shirt, dark-colored zip-up jacket with a hood, dark-colored pants, and bright white sneakers.

A reward for the successful conviction of these suspects may be available, the release says.
