3 people, 2 from West Valley City, hospitalized after Idaho crash

BURLEY, Idaho, Aug. 18, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Idaho State Police officials are investigating an injury crash that occurred Saturday morning, and involved three people — two of them from Utah.

The accident happened at 9:14 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 84, at mile marker 232.2, east of Burley, Idaho.

Brian D. Hart, 27, of Buckeye Ariz., was driving east in a 2004 Mercedes ML350 when he drove off the roadway, and his car rolled into the median.

His passengers were Melissa S. Irish, 30, and Thomas L. Hart, 39, both from West Valley City. None of the three were wearing seat belts.

Irish was transported by air to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. Thomas Hart was transported by ground to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley.

Driver Brian Hart was transported by LifeFlight to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho.
