Two School Buses Collide Near Saltair

[/one_fourth][three_fourth_last]MAGNA, UTAH – April 20, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Two school buses full of high school students were involved in an accident on I-80 Monday afternoon, officials said.
A construction vehicle was merging onto the highway near Saltair, causing the first school bus to brake hard and the second school bus to rear-end it, said Sgt. Todd Royce with the Utah Highway Patrol. An unknown number of students sustained minor injuries in the accident, Royce said.
The roads near the Saltair interchange were estimated to be closed for about an hour with more than 15-minute delays, according to UHP. By 5:30 p.m. all roads were open and traffic was flowing freely.
