TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, June 15, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Fire crews responded to a Sunday night house fire in Taylorsville.
The call came to dispatch at about 11:30 p.m.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the home,” a Unified Fire statement says.
“Crews quickly located the origin of the fire in the basement and initiated offensive fire attack, successfully containing the fire to the basement and preventing it from spreading to the rest of the residence.”
No injuries were reported by any occupants or firefighters.
“The cause of the fire remains under investigation,” the statement says.
