PRESTON, Idaho, Feb. 13, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A Logan man was killed in a head-on collision Saturday afternoon in Preston, Idaho.
According to the Idaho State Police, the accident happened around 1:30 p.m. when Brock Bitton, 36, of Logan, was driving south near 2000 South and State Street.
For an unknown reason, Bitton crossed over the divider, where he struck a vehicle driven by Marie Mitchell, 32, of Lewiston, Utah.
Bitton died at the scene. Mitchell was transported by ground ambulance to Logan Regional Hospital.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. It is not known if drugs or alcohol were factors.
Both Bitton and Mitchell were wearing seatbelts.
