Argument Costs Man Part of His Foot and Head Injury

Trenton, March 21, 2015 – An argument led to a man crashing his motorcycle in Cache Valley this evening around 6:45 pm. Police say that 27- year old Jeremy Jones of Tremonton, was out for a ride with his father, who was driving a separate bike.
According to reports, he and his father got into an argument during their trip. Because of the argument, Jeremy speed off at a high rate of speed and, near mile post 21 on, State Road 23, he went off the right side of the road and struck a tree and fence post. Jones, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered a partially amputated foot and head injuries.
He was initially taken to Cache Valley Hospital to be treated, but was eventually flown to Ogden Regional due to the severity of the injuries.
Police are investigating the excessive speed and the possibility that alcohol was also a factor in the crash.
