St. George Police Investigating Possible Attempted Abduction of Eight-Year-Old
ST. GEORGE, UTAH – MAY 6, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – St. George Police were contacted by a mother stating that a male tried to coax her eight-year-old daughter into a van while she was playing in front of her residence at the Tonaquint Terrace subdivision.
The initial report indicates that a gold van with stripes pulled up in front of the girl’s home and the male driver told her she needed to get in the van and tried to give her several excuses as to why. The girl told the driver she knew what he was saying wasn’t true and ran into her home.
The male was described as white, with long hair and beard that were white/gray, in color.
The St. George Police Investigations Division has began an investigation and detectives are conducting follow up interviews and pursuing leads.
