After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears – leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher.

The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving.

With the upcoming release of the film adaptation, the novel has been subjected to critical reviews. It has even been challenged in a school district for its sexual content. 

John Green gained inspiration for this book, through his experience and knowledge of “Paper Towns”, during a road trip through South Dakota.
