SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, May 6, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Emergency crews responded to the area of 10060 S. Aberdeen Circle (4165 West) in South Jordan where it was initially thought a woman was struck by lighting Friday afternoon.
South Jordan spokeswoman Tina Brown said when crews responded, there was no direct indication the 55-year-old woman had been hit, but she was shaken up by how close the lightning strike was.
She was taken to hospital to be evaluated, but is in stable condition.
