ZURICH, Switzerland, Dec. 19 (UPI) — Three people were wounded Monday in a shooting at a Muslim prayer center in Zurich, Swiss authorities said.
The shooting occurred Monday afternoon at the Islamic center on Eisgasse street. Three people were reported injured.
Authorities said the shooter wasn’t immediately captured and it wasn’t clear whether the Islamic center was the intended target.
“I can only confirm that there was a shooting,” a spokeswoman for Zurich police said.
