Police seek new leads in case of man missing from Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Jan. 19, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are looking for leads in the case of a man who was last seen in Taylorsville more than 11 months ago.

The Unified Police Department Special Victims Unit and family members of 38-year-old Dustin Bird are asking the public for any information regarding Bird’s whereabouts.

He was last seen in Taylorsville on February 17, 2017, when he left his home to meet up with a friend.

Bird is described as a Hispanic man with a medium to light skin tone. He is listed as 5 feet 8 inches and 160 pounds, with brown eyes.

When last seen, he had a buzzed hairstyle and a mustache. Bird has tattoos covering both arms.

Additional tattoos include a large spider tattoo on the top right side of his head, “Mia” tattooed on the left side of his neck, and “801” tattooed behind his left ear.
