OREM, Utah, May 11, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The body of a missing Orem man was found Friday morning, according to police.
Robert Flygare, 75, was reported missing from his home on April 25.
“We regret to inform you that this morning around 8:30 AM we found that Robert ‘Bob’ Flygare has passed away,” says a post on the Orem Police Department Facebook page.
“You all remember that Bob went missing from his home in Orem on the 25th of April and we have been searching for him ever since.
“Today, with the help of the Utah County Search and Rescue Team and the Utah Transit Authority Police we found him near the railroad tracks at about 2000 S., just west of I-15.”
The body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine cause of death. The OPD said it was not looking for a suspect in the case.
“We will wait to hear from the Medical Examiner’s office to determine how he passed but we wanted to let you all know that no one is in danger and we aren’t looking for anyone at this point in our investigation.”
