KIMBALL JUNCTION, Utah, Oct. 19, 2023 (Gephardt Daily) — One person was taken to a hospital after crashing into the back of a dump truck Thursday morning.
A white Mazda CRV was headed west on Interstate 80 at milepost 145 in Kimball Junction about 8:10 a.m. when it rear-ended a dump truck, the Park City Fire District stated on social media.
“Due to the significant damage to the passenger car, the patient was extricated and transported to an area hospital. The patient is in stable condition,” the post says.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Utah Highway Patrol also responded to the crash, according to the Facebook post.
