SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 20, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — One person died after being hit by a TRAX train near 1700 South on Monday night.
A pedestrian was not in a designated crossing when they were hit by a Green Line train about 8:10 p.m., Utah Transit Authority spokesman Carl Arky said.
No other injuries were reported.
A bus bridge was in place Monday night between the Ballpark and Central Point stations while officials investigated the incident, Arky said.
