SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, July 6, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating reports of multiple shots fired early Saturday.
South Salt Lake police say the shooting occurred about 1 a.m. on Helm Avenue from 125 East to 300 East.
A car and a residence were hit in the shooting, though no injuries were reported.
“The preliminary investigation suggests this is an isolated incident, directed toward the parties involved,” South Salt Lake police said in a news release. “The evidence suggests multiple suspects are involved. These suspects are currently outstanding.”
