LOGAN, Utah, Sept. 22, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorcyclist was in critical condition Sunday night after a collision with a vehicle.

The 26-year-old male was transported to a hospital following the 9:22 p.m. crash in the intersection of 1400 North and 800 East, said Lt. Derek Dickey, public information office for the Logan City Police Department.

The intersection was still closed as of 10:50 p.m. for investigation including the department’s accident reconstruction team, he said. No information was immediately available regarding the automobile involved.

Dickey said it was unknown if the motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet, “which is something we always encourage.” He said he had not been advised by the incident commander so he couldn’t confirm initial reports the motorcyclist had died shortly after admission to the hospital.
