WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Sept. 25, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating a Tuesday night homicide in West Valley City.
Detectives have been summoned to the scene at an apartment complex at 3300 South 1200 West in West Valley City police said online at 10:40 p.m.
Officers were dispatched just after 9:30 p.m. when a passerby spotted a person with an apparent gunshot wound lying in the parking lot.
“The victim appears to be an adult male,” police said.
Investigators are gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses, according to their post.
