KANARRAVILLE, Utah, Oct. 28, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A minor earthquake hit southern Utah Sunday night.
It happened at about 10:44 p.m., shaking a rural area about 8 miles south-southwest of Iron County’s Kanarraville.
The trembler measured at 2.4 magnitude, and originated an estimated 7.2 miles beneath the earth’s surface, according to information shared by the University of Utah Seismograph Stations .
No damage has been reported.
