FARR WEST, Utah, Nov. 4, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — An early morning collision in Weber County’s Farr West left one driver dead and a second with non-life-threatening injuries.
It happened at about 4:30 a.m. at 1146 N. 2000 West, just west of Interstate 15.
A Ford Focus was northbound on 2000 West. A Subaru Outback was southbound on the same roadway. Each driver was alone in the vehicle.
“The driver of the Ford Focus left its lane and struck the Subaru,” says a Utah Highway Patrol news release.
“The driver of the Ford Focus was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the Subaru was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“Impairment is suspected to be a factor.”
