Burning barn in Springdale sparks brush fire

SPRINGDALE, Utah, Nov. 6, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue was dispatched to Springdale Tuesday night.

“Just after 9:30 p.m., our crews were dispatched to reports of a fire at 107 N. Fork Drive,” it wrote in a social media post shared Wednesday.

“The first arriving crews reported that a barn was fully involved and there was also a small brush fire that was spreading due to the wind.

“Crews initiated an offensive attack on the brush fire and a defensive attack on the barn fire.”

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, the post says.

“E49, E43, E41, Br43, E665, M41, and BC43 all responded to the fire along with the Springdale Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office.”
