CACHE COUNTY, Utah, Nov. 18, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The Utah Highway Patrol is confirming a fatal crash Monday night in Cache County.
UHP Lt. Cameron Roden told Gephardt Daily the crash happened on State Route 91 in Smithfield when “a southbound Ford pickup truck crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a northbound red truck and then a northbound Dodge.
“The male driver of the Dodge died at the scene and the female passenger of the Dodge was transported with non-life threatening injuries.”
The condition of the other motorists was not immediately available.
According to the Utah Department of Transportation, the crash happened on Main Street at 200 West, and the roadway is closed in both directions.
First responders were dispatched to the crash site about 6:11 p.m.
