WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 1, 2015 — (UPI) — Taylor Swift took heed of recent rumors claiming she was engaged and looking for a mansion by writing a tweet explaining what she’s doing instead.
The “Shake It Off” songstress lived out her lyrics when she wrote a cheeky tweet in response to whisperings she and boyfriend Calvin Harris were looking to wed.
“What the press says I’m doing: Buying a Bev Hills mansion, getting married in an English castle,” she wrote Tuesday afternoon. “What I’m doing: Playing a show in St. Louis.”
Several reports claimed Swift, 25, dropped a hefty $25 million sum on a swanky estate in Beverly Hills while others said she and her 31-year-old DJ boyfriend were ready to tie the knot.
But Swift, who this week donated $50,000 to an infant diagnosed with cancer, is busy inviting an army of celebrities on stage one-by-one during her 1989 world tour.
