‘Batman v. Superman’ ties with ‘Hillary’s America’ for 4 Razzie Awards

Feb. 25 (UPI) — “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party” tied Saturday for a leading, four Golden Raspberry Awards.

“Hillary’s America,” Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary about 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, scored the Razzies for Worst Picture, Worst Actor and Director for D’Souza, and Worst Actress for Rebekah Turner who portrays a dramatized version of Clinton.

“Batman v. Superman” was deemed Worst Re-Make, Rip-Off or Sequel. Cast member Jesse Eisenberg was recognized as Worst Supporting Actor, while the film’s stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill were shamed as Worst Screen Combo. The superhero script also “won” for Worst Screenplay.

Kristen Wiig was recognized as Worst Supporting Actress for her work in “Zoolander 2.”
