LOS ANGELES, April 13 (UPI) — “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” star Ben Affleck is to headline and direct his own stand-alone Batman movie.
The Hollywood Reporter said Warner Bros. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Tsujihara confirmed the project Tuesday at CinemaCon.
“It set up a great foundation for our DC slate, which includes at least 10 movies through 2020,” Tsuijhara said. “I’m also excited to know that we will be working with Ben Affleck on a stand-alone Batman movie.”
Affleck reportedly is also contracted to appear as the character in two “Justice League” superhero ensemble pictures.
