Charlize Theron Lost Sleep Over Accidentally Inviting President Obama to a Strip Club
LOS ANGELES, July 21 (UPI) — Charlize Theron had a bad case of word vomit and invited the commander-in-chief to a strip club the last time she bumped into President Obama on Jimmy Kimmel.
When the Oscar-winning actress visited Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, she shared an incident she had with the POTUS during her last appearance on the late night show.
While chatting backstage, Obama was telling Theron how happy he was to be on the show because he got to reach out to a younger demographic.
But the Mad Max star suggested another place where he could reach out to another group of people.
“Well, if you’re looking for a different demographic I can take you to a strip club,” she told the president.
Although he responded graciously, Theron admitted she kept replaying the event in her head and couldn’t sleep for the next four weeks.
The actress, who turns 40 on August 7, doesn’t have a big celebration planned for her upcoming milestone.
“I’m so happy to be in my 40s and not be in my 20s and worried if I fit into my skinny jeans or whether I will be able to get into that club,” she told E! news. “It’s so nice to just be in love with your couch and make cheesy sandwiches and just enjoy life, it’s been great.”
Theron can been in “Dark Places,” in theaters Aug. 7.
