HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA – November 3, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Disney Studios has released two new trailers for it’s upcoming sequel to “Alice in Wonderland.”
Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” is an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories.
When Alice wakes up in Wonderland she must travel through a mysterious new world to retrieve a magical scepter that can stop the evil Lord of Time before he turns forward the clock and turns Wonderland into a barren, lifeless old world. With the help of some new friends, Alice must also uncover an evil plot to put the Queen of Hearts back on the throne.
Returning for the sequel are, Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, and Timothy Spall.
Some of the new cast members are Sasha Baron Cohen in the role of Time, described as “a peculiar creature who is part human, part clock,” and Rhys Ifans as Zanik Hightopp, the Mad Hatter’s father.
“Alice Through the Looking Glass” will arrive in theaters May 27, 2016.
