March 8 (UPI) — Ginnifer Goodwin will reportedly star in the new ABC pilot “Steps.”
The 39-year-old actress will return to television in the new comedy following her exit from the ABC series “Once Upon a Time,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
Goodwin will play Bea, a “modern hippie” and parent coach married to Paul, who has yet to be cast. The show follows the couple as they raise three kids with Bea’s ex-husband (Barry Rothbart) and Paul’s ex-wife.
Kristin Newman (“The Muppets,” “Galavant”) penned the script. The Hollywood Reporter said Newman will executive produce the show with Todd Holland (“The Real O’Neals”), who will direct the pilot.
Goodwin left “Once Upon a Time” in 2017 after six seasons as Snow White. She is also known for playing Margene Heffman on the HBO series “Big Love.”
