BERLIN, Sept. 25 (UPI) — Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen will be the subject of a new upcoming art book covering the global celebrity’s 20-year career in the fashion and beauty industry.
The limited edition volume, set to become available in November, features over 300 photographs of the model ranging from professional campaigns to intimate shots. The Berlin-based book publisher Taschen, notes only 1,000 signed English copies of the $700 edition of Gisele will be released while the first 100 are to also include a signed photo by Juergen Teller.
A standard edition of the book will be released in Brazil printed in Portuguese alongside the collector’s edition; no English standard editions have been announced.
All the proceeds from Gisele — which is edited and art-directed by Giovanni Bianco and co-authored by photographer Steven Meisel — will be donated to charity.
News of the supermodel’s upcoming photobook comes just after the 35-year-old Brazilian beauty was named this year’s highest paid model. She earned $33 million more than the second-highest paid model — Cara Delevingne — with an estimated total of $44 million. In 2013, the model reportedly earned over $120,000 a day and is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret.
