LOS ANGELES, April 01 (UPI) — Batman and Superman are at odds once again, this time over the love of Bridget Jones in a new mashup trailer released on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The parody, which edits together clips from the recently released “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and the new trailer for the upcoming sequel “Bridget Jones’s Baby,” features stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Rene Zellweger trying to find out who is the father of Bridget Jones’s unborn baby.
Batman, who appears as Jones’s ex-boyfriend, confronts her new love interest, Superman, seeming to be jealous of their new relationship. “Is she with you?,” the Man of Steel asked as seen in the film. “I thought she was with you,” the Dark Knight replies.
The baby drama gets more complicated when the trailer hints that Jones potentially had a threesome.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is currently in theaters. “Bridget Jones’s Baby” hits the silver screen Sept. 16.
