NEW YORK – October 30, 2015 —  (UPI) — After an interview with King of Queens actress Leah Remini, discussing Scientology and its association with actor Tom Cruise, ABC News’ Dan Harris told Good Morning America that actress Katie Holmes will be making an appearance on the highly anticipated 20/20 special airing Friday.

“You’re also going to hear from Katie Holmes, the former wife of Tom Cruise,” Harris teased Friday morning. “[And] what she is now saying about Leah.

According to Us magazine, the Dawson’s Creek star will be addressing Remini and Scientology.

Holmes was married to Cruise for six years. The couple separated in 2012.

The magazine also reported that according a 2013 deposition, Holmes filed for divorce due to issues in their marriage regarding Scientology and their daughter Suri.

At the time, Cruise was involved in a lawsuit against Bauer Publishing Co. after several of its magazines published that he “abandoned” Suri.

In his taped deposition, Cruise was “asked by a Bauer lawyer if one of the reasons why Holmes filed for divorce was ‘to protect Suri from Scientology.'”

“Did she say that? That was one of the assertions, yes,” Cruise replied in the tape.

Remini said in the interview with Harris on Thursday that she was once “written up” by a Scientology administrator for an incident involving Cruise and Holmes.

“He [Cruise] was like, forcibly kissing Katie,” Remini recalled to Harris. “And I said, ‘Hey, get a freaking room.’ And uh, well, I was written up for that.”

The 20/20 special is set to air Friday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
