LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10 (UPI) — Kylie Jenner rang in her 19th birthday with a dramatic new look.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star now has bright red hair and showed off the change Tuesday on Instagram.
Jenner frequently switches up her look and it is unconfirmed if her new hue is permanent or a wig. One of her go-to wig companies, Tokyo Stylez, however, posted the same photo on their account.
“It makes me feel like a new person,” the star recently explained in a blog post on her website. “I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way.”
“It’s hard for me to go back to different styles I’ve worn before; I don’t always like my normal short, black hair,” she admitted. “That look makes me feel like I’m going back in time. It’s like I’m going back to that moment a year ago and I just don’t want to be in that space.”
Jenner celebrated her birthday with her friends and family at The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles last week. The teenager wore a sheer, lace jumpsuit to the party and was seen dancing and snapping photos until 2 a.m.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star received two extravagant gifts to mark the occasion. She bought herself a custom Land Rover that reportedly cost over $200,000 and received a Mercedes Maybach worth $200,000 from boyfriend Tyga.
