‘Madea’ is the No. 1 movie in North America for a second weekend

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 (UPI) — Tyler Perry‘s holiday comedy “Boo! A Madea Halloween” is the No. 1 movie in North America for a second weekend, earning an additional $16.7 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is “Inferno” with $15 million, followed by “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” at No. 3 with $9.6 million, “The Accountant” at No. 4 with $8.5 million and “Ouija: Origin of Evil” at No. 5 with $7.1 million.

 

Rounding out the top tier are “The Girl on the Train” at No. 6 with $4.3 million, “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” at No. 7 with $4 million, “Keeping Up with the Joneses” at No. 8 with $3.4 million, “Storks” at No. 9 with $2.8 million and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” at No. 10 with $2.1 million.
