Marilyn Manson Reportedly Punched in The Face at Denny’s
ALBERTA , Alberta, April 8 (UPI) — Marilyn Manson was reportedly punched in the face during a late night run to Denny’s in Canada over the weekend.
According to TMZ, the 46-year-old rocker was slated to perform in Alberta, Canada, on Saturday. After show, at around 2 a.m. Manson stopped by a Denny’s restaurant where he got into an argument with a group sitting at a neighboring table.
Sources told the celebrity gossip site Manson called a man’s girlfriend a “bitch,” prompting the man to punch him on the face.
The rocker’s rep claims he did not instigate the fight and was simply eating his meal when two fans approached him and asked for a picture. Manson says he was hit out of nowhere and that his makeup artist was also elbowed in the face. The two are reportedly pressing charges.
An eyewitness confirmed Mason’s recount of the events to the Toronto Sun via NME.
“He was being friendly with everyone, anyone who wanted a picture, he would give them a picture, anyone who wanted an autograph he would give them an autograph,” Johnny Scott said. “They were just talking and the guy just punched him right in the face without any provocation.”
