SAN JUAN COUNTY, Utah, April 21, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The University of Utah and United States Geological Survey are reporting that a 3.8 magnitude earthquake shook things up a bit in San Juan County on Thursday night.
The quake was recorded about 26 miles south of Blanding at 10:01 p.m. No damage or injuries were reported.
According to USGS, a 3.8 magnitude quake may be “felt quite noticeably by persons indoors, especially on upper floors of buildings. Many people do not recognize it as an earthquake. Standing motor cars may rock slightly. Vibrations similar to the passing of a truck.”
