PARK CITY, Utah, Feb. 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — An 8-year-old girl was flown to a hospital after falling from a chairlift at Park City Mountain Resort Saturday.
Park City Mountain said in a statement that ski patrol responded to a report that the child, who is from Alpine, fell from the Silverlode Express chairlift.
“The guest was transported via air ambulance to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City,” the statement said.
Officials did not say what caused the child to fall from the lift.
How many tragedies have to happen before it is a requirement for lifts to have safety bars? Every other sport and industry is regulated.
