RIVERTON, Utah, May 30, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) – At least one person is dead after a Thursday morning crash at the intersection of 13400 South and Mountain View Corridor Highway in Riverton.
The two vehicle crash was called into emergency dispatchers at 12:17 a.m.
According to Riverton Police spokesman Josh Lee “The minor was traveling westbound on 13400 South and was struck by another driver traveling southbound on Mountain View Corridor.”
“The minor was pronounced deceased” at the scene, Lee said.
“The other driver was not injured.”
The southbound lanes of Mountain View Corridor Highway were closed to traffic until about 7 a.m.
“The South Valley Crash Team is conducting a thorough investigation to determine what happened,” Lee said
