CACHE COUNTY, Utah, July 9, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Cache County doctor has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree felony aggravated sexual abuse of a child, officials said Monday.
Brevan Baugh was booked into the Cache County Jail Thursday and has since posted $40,000 bail, according to a news release from Cache County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Brian Locke.
A search of the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing website shows Baugh is a naturopathic physician in the city of Providence, and was educated at the University of Bridgeport Naturopathic Medicine. The Association of Accredited
Naturopathic Medical Colleges website said naturopathic doctors provide primary patient care that blends natural medicine with conventional diagnosis and treatment.
Officials did not provide any further details of the alleged abuse.
“This is an ongoing investigation with the possibility of other victims,” the news release said.
Anyone who has “information about previous dealings with Baugh” is asked to contact Cache County Sheriff’s Detective Denny Bird at 435-755-1180.
