OGDEN, Utah, Feb. 2, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A car collided with a motorcycle Saturday in Ogden, sending the biker to the hospital with multiple injuries.
The accident happened at 12:55 p.m., a statement from the Ogden Police Department says.
“Upon arrival, officers discovered that a motorcyclist was traveling eastbound in the 700 block of North St intending to go through the intersection at North Street and Monroe Boulevard,” the statement says.
“At the same time, a driver traveling westbound in the 800 block of North Street in a gold passenger vehicle attempted to make a left hand turn in the intersection to travel onto Monroe Boulevard.”
The driver of the passenger car failed to see the motorcyclist, who was struck, the statement says.
“The motorcyclist received multiple non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The accident is currently being investigated.”
The scene is now clear and open to traffic.
