Cedar City Teen Rolls Vehicle in Toquerville; Father Dies
Utah Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal crash on I-15 northbound near Toquerville.
According to UHP, the teenager was driving a white pick up truck with his father as the passenger. For some unknown reason the teen drifted off the road then over corrected, rolling the truck at least two times.
The father died of his injures at the scene and the man’s son was transported to St. George area hospital by ambulance.
Heavy backup is ongoing in the area as the lane have been restricted. UHP is expecting clearance of the restrictions around 5:30 p.m.
