TOOELE, Utah, Dec. 16, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Emergency crews, including a medical helicopter, were called to the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident in which a child was seriously injured Sunday night.
The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. near 970 N. Main St. in Tooele.
Tooele Police Sgt. A. Shepard told Gephardt Daily patrol officers responded to a report of a 6-year-old boy who “was run over” next to the McDonald’s restaurant at the Main Street location.
Shepard said the boy was flown to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, but he did not know the child’s current condition.
No other information was available Sunday night.
