Milford Man Killed After Car Collides With Cow

DELTA, Utah, Feb. 5, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A Milford man was killed after his car collided with a cow in the roadway Thursday night, officials said.

A news release from Utah Highway Patrol said a white 1998 Subaru Forester was southbound on SR-257 near mile post 38 at 11:45 p.m. when it collided with a black cow in the road.

The news release said the adult male, identified as 37-year-old Oscar Estrada from Milford, was not wearing his seat belt and suffered fatal chest and head injuries from the steering wheel and windshield.

An adult female was transported to the Delta hospital, and later transferred to a trauma center farther north. A 6-year-old female in the backseat, who was lying down and was not restrained, was uninjured.
