SANTA CLARA, Utah, May 15, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Fire crews in Washington County battled a fire behind a residence Tuesday afternoon.
Santa Clara – Ivins Fire & Rescue was summoned to “a brush fire that started in the backyard of a residence on El Vista in Santa Clara,” says a social media post issued Tuesday afternoon, asking people to steer clear of the fire while crews were on scene.
The agency shared photos that showed burning fences, toys, tools and dried brush, all in close proximity to multiple residences.
“Thank you to St. George Fire Department- Utah and Dammeron Valley Fire & Rescue for the help!,” the post says.
Dammeron Valley Fire & Rescue answered back.
