TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, March 19, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman was critically injured Wednesday night after being ejected from her vehicle in a rollover crash on westbound Interstate 80 in Tooele County.

According to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden, the rollover happened about 7:40 p.m when the woman’s westbound Toyota Sienna sideswiped a gray Chevrolet Equinox on the right shoulder, then rolled onto its side on a frontage road.

The driver, the sole occupant of the Sienna, was ejected and found about 30 feet from the vehicle, Roden said. She was transported by medical helicopter in critical condition.

Two women in the Equinox were not injured.

Investigators have yet to determine whether the Equinox was parked along the side of the highway or attempting to enter the travel lane.
