Driver critically injured in Washington County rollover

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah, Nov. 21, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Rescue crews responded to a rollover Thursday that left one person critically injured.

“Crews responded to a vehicle rollover near mile marker 33 on I-15 today,” says a statement issued by Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue. That location was north of Hurricane.

“Crews did have to extricate the sole occupant of the vehicle, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.”

The patient was then transported to St. George Regional Hospital with critical injuries, the news release says.

“M43, E41, BC42, and units from New Harmony Fire all responded to this incident, as well as the Utah Highway Patrol and the UDOT Incident Management Team.”
