SNOWVILLE, Utah, May 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A driver is in critical condition after a single-car rollover on Interstate 84 near Snowville Tuesday morning.
A news release from the Utah Highway Patrol said officials responded to the rollover on I-84 at mile post 9 at approximately 6:50 a.m.
“A 2003 Honda Civic was traveling west and appears to have drifted off of the roadway to the right,” the news release said. “The driver attempted to regain control of the car and overcorrected.”
The car rolled an estimated two times to its right and came to rest on its top, the news release said.
The driver was wearing a seat belt, but had to be extricated and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, officials said.
