WASATCH COUNTY, Utah, Nov. 5, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Two red vehicles were traveling a snowy roadway in Wasatch County Tuesday morning when one left its travel lane, hitting the other head on.
The incident happened at about 9 a.m., and impacted drivers for multiple hours.
“A red Jeep Liberty was traveling eastbound on Highway 40 near milepost 34,” a Utah Highway Patrol statement says. “At the same time, a red Honda CRV was traveling westbound.
“It was snowing at the time, and the roadway was snow-covered. The driver of the Jeep left its lane of travel, crossed the undivided median, and struck the CRV in a head-on collision.”
A passenger in the CRV was transported in critical condition, the news release says. Four other people were transported with minor injuries to an area hospital.”
